About Us
TABIÀ is a Northern Italian restaurant inspired by the rustic towns surrounding the beautiful Dolomite Mountains. The word TABIÀ is from the local dialect in the Valle del Biois to describe the chalet style houses dotted around the Dolomite and surrounding hills.

With colder weather influencing the local cuisine, it affects the variety and seasonal availability of produce. Many of the ingredients are preserved by either curing and drying. The cuisine is considered hearty and wholesome and a lot of dishes are braised or stewed.
-
Some typical ingredients are polenta, gnocchi, risotto, cured meats, cheese, different fresh meats and poultry plus seasonal game such as deer and wild boar. Fresh herbs and local spices are also widely used for seasoning and flavouring.

We serve dishes which can be found from other regions of Italy as well, just to provide options for our guests!
